Travel Writer & Full-Time Wanderer, based in Lisbon
I grew up two blocks from the sea in a city I swore I'd never leave — and then I left, and somehow always find my way back. What started as a one-way ticket and a half-finished spreadsheet of "someday" destinations turned into a life spent chasing sunrises over rice terraces, getting pleasantly lost in medinas, and learning just enough of a dozen languages to order coffee and apologize for my pronunciation.
These days I split my time between Lisbon, where the light hits the rooftops just right every evening, and wherever the next flight happens to be going. This blog is where I keep the stories that don't fit in a caption: the wrong turns that became the best part of the trip, the meals eaten standing up in someone's kitchen, and the small, unglamorous moments that make a place feel like it was worth the trip after all.
A rough tally of the miles, the words, and the years so far.
